Gynecologic Oncology Group (GOG)

The Gynecologic Oncology Group (GOG) is a non-profit organization with the purpose of promoting excellence in the quality and integrity of clinical and basic scientific research in the field of Gynecologic malignancies.

The active involvement of Maria Bell, MD, Sanford Clinic – Women's Health, in the Gynecologic Oncology Group (GOC) provided the opportunity for patients to be enrolled in some of the available GOG studies. Dr. Bell and her research staff are continuing to develop and implement clinical trials as well as basic research to further understand the causes and develop better treatments for gynecologic malignancies in the general as well as Native American populations.
