Twins who have birthdays two weeks apart? Yes, that’s right.Their mother, Bree, gave birth to Carter on November 21, 2006 and his brother Logan exactly two weeks later on December 5. Bree praises the team at Sanford Health who helped her family through every step of the way, from becoming pregnant, to caring for a high risk pregnancy and then providing highly specialized care for her babies. Bree indicated she couldn’t have asked for more care and concern than she received from the team at Sanford Health, stating “It has been wonderful.” Due March 10, 2007, the babies were born at 24 weeks and 26 weeks respectively to proud parents Scott and Bree. After Carter’s pre-mature birth, Perinatologist Dr. Peter Van Eerden gave his mom medication to successfully stop labor. Brianne was then placed on bed rest. This bought Logan two extra weeks to develop in his mother’s womb. He was born via C-section after contractions started affecting his heart rate. |
