Research CancerWorld Class Research Shouldn’t Be a World Away…Fortunately, It Isn’t.

World class research is being conducted on the campus of Sanford today. Sanford partnered in 1998 with the University of South Dakota School of Medicine to form a non-profit research organization – the Sanford Research Foundation.

This Foundation supports a Cardiovascular Research Institute, Signal Transduction Institute, Health Disparities Institute, Nutrition and Metabolic Diseases Institute, and Cancer Biology Institute.

"This is an exciting time for research because, thanks to Sanford, we have the technology available to ask questions we couldn’t think about asking before."

Benjamin Perryman, PhD., Director of the Sanford Research Foundation.
